Crewe Works, September 1956

The following information gives a view of the comings and goings at Crewe Works during the month of September in 1956 culminating in a full visit on the 30th.  It is interesting to note the speed with which engines were moved through the processes, almost all those arriving between 24th and 29th were in the Erecting Shop, and undergoing repair, by the final day of the month.
