Hull Springhead Works
Pre Grouping Origin - Hull & Barnsley RailwaySpringhead Works was closed for anything but light repairs in 1924.
The Hull & Barnsley Railway line ran independently for thirty seven years before being finally absorbed into the North Eastern Railway on 1st April 1922 as a direct preliminary to grouping and the formation of the London North Eastern Railway on 1st January 1923.
